Looking through windows

Sitting at the window as a child, I remember looking out, past the curtains.  I am not sure what was going through my child mind.  Probably something I couldn't quite explain or understand. Though, I know it meant something. It meant there was something happening out there and I wondered what is was as I sat just thinking.  Years later as an adult, the image of myself sitting at the window returned.  This time I was able to look at it from a different perspective. I have experienced different things through the years as I have reached this point in my life.  My mom used to say, "there are many different windows."  Similar to the saying, "Walk in someone else's shoes." I can now  understand and make sense of the phrase "There Are Many Different Windows."  I can now understand that when I step back and realize that there is not just one window to look out, but several, life is a never-ending event of experiences.
